Ordering FAQWill I Receive the Exact Item Shown? It depends what the item is. If same item has a lot of individual variation, like Crystals, Shiva Lingam Stones, or Agate Slabs, then you will receive the exact item shown in the picture. (A note near the top of the page will indicate this.) If items made from the same stone or crystal are nearly identical, like Massage Wands, Spheres, and Bracelets, you will receive one very similar to but not identical to the picture.
Yes. Mal's e-commerce, our Shopping Cart provider, uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) to encrypt and collect sensitive date like your credit card number. At the step during the Checkout process where you are asked for your credit card information, you will see the little padlock symbol at the bottom of your screen. Your data is stored on Mal's secure server, where we can access it only after entering a password through a secure browser. In other words, your credit card information is not transmitted by e-mail. After we've processed your order, we delete your information from the server.
Only if you live in California. Sales tax is required when online shoppers live in the same state where the retailer has a physical ("bricks-and-mortar") presence. Because we're located in California, we have to charge 8.375% sales tax on all orders shipped to California addresses. Note that these rules are constantly being debated in Congress, so they could change. But for now, no sales tax unless your order is being shipped to a California address.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover/Novus, including Visa and MasterCard check cards and debit cards. Shipping to any U.S. location, including Alaska and Hawaii, P.O. Boxes and military addresses, is absolutely free. No minimum order required. No strings attached. Can I Pay for Faster Shipping? Yes. Standard free shipment is via U.S. First Class Mail, U.S. Priority Mail, or Federal Express Ground service. Depending on your address, your order will arrive 1 to 5 business days after shipment. (In most cases, your order will be shipped within one business day after you place it.) We will be happy to ship via U.S. Express Mail or Federal Express Overnight, 2-Day, or 3-Day (Express Saver) services if you prefer faster, guaranteed delivery times. Please e-mail us for a shipping quote before you place your order. We need to know your zip code and the item(s) you wish to purchase, as well as the date by which you need to receive your order. We'll send you Overnight, 2-day, and 3-day quotes for comparison. We only pass along to you the cost of what the Post Office or Fed Ex charges us. In other words, we do not tack on an additional shipping or handling fee.
