The
Story of Lemurian Seed Crystals
Legend holds that 12 million years ago, somewhere in the South Pacific, there existed an ancient, advanced civilization known as
Lemuria. The Lemurians were peaceful and highly developed spiritually, with a consciousness much more centered on emotional dimensions than
exists in our modern world. Their deeper connection to the heart allowed them to express unconditional love, to maintain a profound sense of connection to the Divine, to each other, to the environment and
to the whole of creation.
During the final days of Lemuria, it was decided to plant seed crystals programmed with this consciousness of love and connection, to transmit this message of oneness. After seeding these crystals, it is believed some Lemurians departed for other star systems, while others descended into the inner earth, maintaining a telepathic connection with those in other parts of the galaxy. The crystals are thus connected to inner earth, the earth's surface, and the stars, and continue to transmit the Lemurian Vibrations of Unity and Love, the message that all beings are equal. This connection can teach us how to be both individuals and integral parts of the cosmic design, and help us to maintain our connection with our spiritual source while in a physical body.
Lemurian Crystals are a unique type of Quartz point, found today in Brazil.
Perhaps their most notable visual characteristics are the horizontal striations, which appear to some observers to have been lasered on to the crystals, like a "bar code" containing the wisdom and energy vibrations of ancient
Lemuria.
Lemurian Seed Crystals are considered excellent for removing energy blockages, opening the heart, and for other types of healing work. They can guide awareness toward comprehension of the oneness of the Universe. They facilitate the expression of emotion, as well as cutting outdated emotional ties that bind one to another person. They are also excellent for dream work and channeling work.
Some ways to work with them are to hold one of the crystal's striated sides to the Third Eye (above and between the other two). Another is to rub the index finger of your non-dominant hand across the ridges. To balance the
chakras, put a crystal or stone on each chakra, then rotate the Lemurian Seed Crystal in a counterclockwise circle over each stone.
